Holy Wisdom Interfaith Seminary was founded in 2009 in Ohio. Archbishop Isaac L Kramer, founder of The Holy Order of St Raphael Interfaith, was co-founder of the divinity school.

Holy Wisdom Interfaith Seminary educates Interfaith Apostolic clergy. It also enriches the spiritual life of students, enhances their appreciation of the great spiritual traditions of the world, and promotes global awareness of our human family as a spiritual fellowship.

We are an inclusive and progressive school, holding fast to the traditions of the past that still serve us, and willing to explore new places to which God is leading us today and tomorrow. The doors and altars of our churches and seminary are open to all humanity.

The theological program of Holy Wisdom Interfaith Seminary is designed for individuals who wish to seek the priesthood or ministry within the Holy Order of St. Raphael Interfaith or other Independent Catholic/Orthodox jurisdictions. Candidates from jurisdictions other than the Holy Order of St. Raphael Interfaith must have their local bishop’s approval before registering with the school.

Candidates are required to have at least a high school diploma before applying for the program. Prior experience in ministry or other academic degrees are not required with us since we are a full seminary. Candidates first study for an Associates degree in Interfaith Theology, upon completion they are elgible to continue into their Bachelor's of Interfaith Theology. Priestly formation is supervised by the school in consultation with regional mentors assigned to the student.

The Holy Order of St. Raphael Interfaith practices ordination in the Apostolic Succession through the laying on of hands by a group of bishops. Since our bishops are located in the United States, the service of ordination will also normally take place in the United States. Exceptions will be made only when travel and boarding accommodations are offered.
